After reading the Vinetur article published on July 6, 2020 about the oldest wineries in Spain, and seeing that ours did not appear, we spoke with them to inform them of the historical characteristics of Osca Wineries.
After verification, they included our wineries within this magnificent collection.

Osca Wineries
«Next to Barbastro, (we are in Ponzano) capital of Somontano in Huesca, is the oldest winery in Spain.
The vestiges of these underground cellars date back to nothing more and nothing less than year 1480. Osca is located on the house and winery of the last spanish inquisitor. It also preserves remains from the 19th century.
Currently Bodegas Osca It is open to anyone who wants to discover this amalgamation of barrel, leather, skin and stone essences. from the very ground of a family winery, small production, where whoever enters will be able to see this small piece of history in person.
A small winery with a limited production of 1,500 hectoliters per year, jealously cared for in an absolutely artisanal way in small tanks and aged in 360 French and American oak barrels that sleep in the shelter of hundreds of years of history.
